Want someone to take a look at your manuscript?

Need some proofing? Let’s work together!

Why work with me?

First and foremost, I’m an author with experience. I’ve been writing novels since 2010 and have taken many English and Literature courses. I have a bachelor’s and master’s in English Literature, know the structure, grammar, flow, and syntax of the English language very well, and have worked directly with agents and editors on best novel-writing practices.

I know what it’s like to be a debut author with very little experience and how scary it can be to put your story/book out there. As your editor, I promise to instill the confidence you need to submit to publishing houses or even start your own publication journey, which I would be more than happy to coach you through as well. Or even if you are experienced and are just looking for a fresh pair of eyes: I’d love to work with you, too!

These can include but are not limited to Science Fiction, Fantasy, Romance/Erotica, Horror/Mystery, General Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Adult/YA.

While I don’t do non-fiction, anything in the fiction realm is right up my alley.

Check out my service fees below!

Because I know how expensive editing can get, I offer the best competitive prices to get us started. In general, these are the two kinds of editing services I can give.

Line editing
0.0030 per word

This checks for grammar, basic spelling errors, clunky sentences, and transitions. Basically, I check for the flow of your manuscript with little to no comment on story progression, world-building, or character DEVELOPMENT.

Manuscript critique

0.0050 per word

This entails a full analysis of the plot, story progression, world-building, character development, and themes. While I will mark up the manuscript in places I feel are weak or lacking information, I will also provide an outline of what I felt the strong/weak points in the manuscript were for your review.

I use Microsoft Word and change nothing without the author’s consent. This is strictly my feedback — feel free to keep or disregard what doesn’t work.
